CHURCH-N-THE HOOD: Faith Principles & The Vision
Faith Principle #1:
We believe all people are created equal in God's sight.
We also believe the following biblical text magnifies the
principle; Galatians 3:26: For Ye are all the children of
God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28: There is
neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free,
there is neither male nor female: For Ye are all one in
Christ Jesus...Therefore, our doors, hearts and spirits
are open to people from all walks of life, without
prejudice or discrimination, based on denominational
beliefs, race, gender, political party, sexual orientation,
financial status, or individual spiritual belief systems.
Faith Principle #2:
We are not here to judge, condemn, condone, crucify or
control any individual or be anyone's spiritual Hype-man.
Our mission is simply this, to promote through our
actions, the fruits of the spirit as found in the following
biblical text: (Galatians 5:22), But the fruit of the spirit
is Love, Joy, Peace, Long suffering, Gentleness, Goodness,
Faith, Meekness, and Temperance. Against such, there is
no law.
Faith Principle #3:
This ministry was founded on this Trinity God our Divine
Parent: (Mother, Father, God, our everything), The
Homey of Homies, the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and the
Holy Spirit, the Comforter. It is our belief that Jesus,
born of the Virgin Mary, did walk the earth, died and on
the third day rose again, and now is seated at the right
hand of God. We do not limit ourselves or others, by
thinking our form of worship or worshipful thinking is the
only way to experience inner peace, the only way to
communicate with God or the only way to get through to
our God consciousness. Therefore, we welcome people of
all faiths into our midst with the understanding, that
regardless of religious names, rituals or traditions, there
is still only One God, One People and One Divine Love.
The Vision...
Finally, this is the vision of CHURCH-N-THE HOOD, to
bring masses of people together in the true spirit of
Love, Respect, Unity and Commitment to making our world
a better place, while utilizing all our diverse talents,
skills, degrees, cultures, beliefs, goals, hopes, finances,
and dreams to find solutions to today's common plagues,
and surpass negativisms with an entire well knitted group
of people willing to take action, until expectations of
future progress is a reality here, right now!
